6) Go on a dolphin cruise

One of the best things to do in Myrtle Beach, SC is to take a dolphin cruise. This activity allows you to get up close and personal with some of the majestic creatures of the sea, while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Atlantic coast. There are several different companies that offer these types of cruises in the area, so you are sure to find one that fits your needs. 

When taking a dolphin cruise, you will typically get to spend between two and four hours out on the ocean, depending on the company you choose. The majority of these tours leave from Murrells Inlet or Little River, which are located south and north of Myrtle Beach. Myrtle Beach is a well-liked vacation spot with a subtropical temperature and lovely beaches. Every year, the city receives up to 14 million tourists, many of them travel with their dogs to this dog-friendly town. Myrtle Beach is regarded as a dog-friendly community since there are many beaches, parks and restaurants where dogs are permitted. 

City of Myrtle Beach Barc Parcs

There are two off-leash dog parks in Myrtle Beach where owners can let their animals play and run about. Both parks offer separate areas for large and small dogs and are completely fenced.

On 62nd Avenue North Extension, Barc Parc North is next to the Claire Chapin Epps Family YMCA. It was inaugurated in the fall of 2009 and spans 3.3 acres.

The original leash-free dog park, Barc Parc South, is located off Mallard Lake Drive next to Grand Park and The Market Common. A sizable lake is part of the 14-acre park.

The Barc Parc rules are listed below. The height requirements for dogs are indicated on the entrance gates. Additionally, there are posted guidelines for conduct, and owners are in charge of cleaning up after their animals and disposing of their waste correctly. There are supplied helpful cleaners.

Barc Parc Rules

• Park is open from sun up to sun down.
• All dogs entering the park need to be spayed or neutered.
• All dogs must be properly licensed, vaccinated and healthy prior to entering the park.
• Aggressive dogs are not permitted. Any dogs showing signs of aggression should leave the park immediately.
• Children under the age of 8 and puppies under 4 months are prohibited from entering the park.
