Using a Realtor to represent you for new construction homes adds no cost to you as the buyer. The home builder compensates the realtor and this payment has no bearing on the final home price. The salespeople that work at the onsite model homes represent and work on behalf of the builder. That is why it’s important that you have an agent to represent your interests.

As your new construction agent, I look out for your interests throughout the entire process, from looking for builders and choosing a floor plan to assisting you during the entire construction process, inspections, and making sure you get your dream home. Many agents only appear for the first meeting with home builders during the home building process. I'll be with you every step of the way through inspections, walkthroughs and all the way to closing!

The majority of home builders have a policy stating that if you visit their model without a Realtor, you are their customer and cannot be represented by your own realtor. If you disclose to the salesperson that you are working with an agent up front, the majority of builders will respect your connection with your Realtor. When you give your name to the builder representative, give them my name too.
